How bad.............

......any truth to some rumors that the boys laid out drunk or something? Just wondering that was a rumor i had seen posted and could be the reason for some major dehydration...

I don't know the truth, but I can second the hearing of those rumors.

I do know the a lot of the boys were in Hurley Friday night cheering on Montcalm (along with a couple people scouting both teams, can't disagree with that). Personally, the coaches being there scouting is fine, but with an early game the next day those kids should NOT have been there.

I know who you are referring to at Haysi as in the football jerseys and that is a low blow to him. He is a really nice guy who supports his team through thick and thin. To make out that he is not all there is ridiculous if memory serves me correct the guy in the football jerseys won the district in spelling in Forensics and judging by your diction is much more than you can say Air-ran.

I am in awe of our performance this past Saturday. Beckley had 16 players on the roster, they were in excellent condition, and they executed their offense very efficiently.

What happened? I DUNNO!

The trip I know had an adverse effect on the team, the heat however was the big difference maker. I am not sure how many were affected drastically by the heat but 3 or 4 went down and succombed to the heat. Wyatt Justus, totally exhausted couldn't even play the overtime and was somewhat ineffective all day, throwing up and eventually getting dehydrated. Jeremiah Lester was probably the most effected by the heat, he was being packed down with ice and cold towels with a few minutes to go in the game, he also did not play the overtime. Jory Rife started hyperventilating and several others talked about being dizzy and light headed. Hunter Simpson also got very sick.

PLEASE DO NOT GET ME WRONG, Beckley beat us!

I am not making excuses, I am just sharing the facts about the heat and etc.

Emotionally we didn't show up to play football, perhaps it was the trip, the heat, I don't know.

Whatever the reason, by the time we found a sense of urgency the Crusaders had momentum and started to believe that they could win.

Overall, it was just a poor performance that hopefully will teach us coaches and Players a valuable lesson. We will go back to basics on Monday and start over. This game could either make us or break us, I have seen things like this before, sometimes it wakes a bunch of guys up! Hopefully that will be the case this time around.

As far as the game goes, I have put it behind and am deep into preparing for Castlewood.

Here's is hoping that everyone else in the BDD fairs better in the weeks to come

By the way the shots are being fired at gobigred not you mr. protector from all evil. My post came out a little wrong, it was not a shot at who you or anyone else thought it was, guess i should have seperated that better. But like i said Dundin i take a shot at who i want when i want big man. Took them at you last year and i will take them again man. Hell i pull for the same guys you do, and like i said i like BO, great guy and a whole lot smarter than gobigred.

I was just saying it's not right to take shots at people who don't post here. You can take shots at me all day long. There's really nothing to do it over though
